Hi, I'm Brianna Battles,
A former athlete, turned coach, mother, versatile athlete, educator and entrepreneur.
I started the Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism in 2014, early postpartum with my first son. As a career strength and conditioning coach, it wasn’t until I became a mother that realized how much athletes like myself were overlooked and misunderstood in the fitness industry. I shifted my career path into specializing in coaching pregnant and postpartum athletes, and since then, it’s evolved into a globally recognized movement and brand that has certified over 5,000 coaches around the world.
My personal and business mission is that “athleticism does not end when motherhood begins.” I live this. I coach this. I teach how this is accomplished.
MS Coaching | BS Kinesiology | NSCA - CSCS

A simple coaching framework to make better training decisions for pregnant and postpartum athletes.
Identify the key factors that should influence programming — including sport demands, long-term goals, and core + pelvic health considerations.
Make practical adjustments when an athlete is experiencing symptoms, setbacks, or changes during pregnancy and postpartum.
Coach with more confidence instead of relying on generic rules, fear, or guesswork.
For over a decade, I watched coaching advice swing from one extreme to the other — treat pregnancy like it's fragile, or treat it like nothing's changed at all.
Neither one actually asks the question that matters:
Is this exercise right for what THIS athlete needs right now?
I learned to stop asking "is this safe?" and start thinking strategically. That shift changed how I coach — and it's the foundation of everything I teach.
That's the shift I want to teach you.
